Vitality Holistic Massage and Beauty Training
I am
delighted to be able to offer Holistic Massage and Beauty Training from my Training Rooms in Rothwell, Northants.
Rothwell is located just off the A14 giving easy access to students travelling from Northampton, Birmingham, Nottingham,
Leicester, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and everywhere in between!
To
find out how many miles you'll need to travel please check out Google Maps or the AA Route Planner http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl http://www.theaa.com/route-planner/index.jsp
My Post Code is NN14 6AY
All of my Holistic and Beauty Therapy Training courses are accredited by The Guild of Beauty and
Holistic Therapists and are awarded CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points. http://www.beautyguild.com/
In some instances, The Guild of Beauty Therapists will accept therapists as members and provide insurance cover
without an Anatomy and Physiology qualification. This is subject to the type of course being undertaken. For Swedish
Body Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Thai Compress Massage students will be required to provide proof of either an
A and P qualification or proof that they are working towards their qualification. Anatomy and Physiology
Whilst Anatomy and Physiology are not required for certain modalities; if you are serious
about being a Therapist I would always encourage students to study for an A and P qualification. Local colleges often
offer A and P courses but if you would rather study at your own pace then distance learning courses can be equally as good.

Insurance
The Guild is the leading trade association in the UK and one of the biggest providers of insurance for beauty therapists,
holistic therapists, and nail technicians. If you want to set up in practice you must
hold valid public liability insurance. This is to protect your client and to protect yourself in the unfortunate
event of a claim being made against you. All therapists requiring insurance cover must hold recognised qualifications.
It is always worth “shopping around” for the right insurance cover as prices can vary. There
are many insurance companies that specialise in providing cover for therapists and information is always provided when undertaking
any Vitality Course.
Vitality Courses
As a practicing therapist, I understand the business and over the years
I have built up a working knowledge of what being a therapist means. All of my courses include information on running
a business such as Tax and Insurance, Marketing and Promoting your business to make it a success. I also provide
important support after the course, so if you need help or guidance on any aspect of being a therapist be it practical advice
on a specific therapy or business advice, I am always happy to help and if I don't know the answer to your question, I
am certain to know someone who does and can point you in the right direction.
When you sign up to do a Therapy
Course, that is what you want to get on with - the "lovely hands on bit" which is why I always send out a pre course
assessment. This assessment gives me an idea of how much knowledge you already have so that I can tailor the course
to your individual needs. For example, if you are a qualified therapist practicing Swedish Body Massage and you want
to learn Indian Head Massage, then 95% of the course will be hands on because you will already have a working knowledge of
Anatomy and Physiology. If on the other hand you are just starting out and have very little experience, I can provide
you with the essential knowledge you will need such as the Anatomy of the area you are going to be working on and the
massage techniques you'll need, before teaching you the actual treatment. In the main all courses
are 80% practical, 20% theory.
I accept a maximum of 4 students at any one time to ensure my students
receive the guidance, encouragement and practical experience they need to undertake their chosen therapy with confidence.
A model is provided so students can watch and learn, ask any questions, then have a go themselves! A comprehensive manual
is also provided which covers essential Anatomy and Physiology, Theory, Business Advice and the all important Therapy
Routines.
I believe in being flexible so if advertised dates are not convenient alternative days can be
arranged to suit students' individual needs. One to One tutoring and weekends are also available.

If you already have insurance cover in place ALWAYS check that your chosen insurance
company will offer cover BEFORE undertaking any Vitality Holistic Therapy Training Courses.
